A little about me...

I have been involved in the fitness/yoga world since 1996, and am a Continual Education provider for Yoga Alliance, and BCRPA and CFES, two provincial registering companies for the fitness industry. I am a highly accomplished Presenter, Entrepreneur, Author, Life Coach, and     Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer.

 

During my first years in the fitness industry, I worked in the Administration and Human Resources positions in the corporate world as well.  After 25 years, I retired and since then, have followed my love and passion for helping others by developing and teaching fitness, Pilates, and Yoga programs for over 20 years. I am a former Pilates/Yoga studio owner and was the fitness director for a National fitness company for 5 years, overseeing a team of 15 instructors.  In 2016, I took my coaching and teaching further and became a certified Life Coach through the Certified Coaches Federation of Canada.

 

As a student of the Mind, Body & Spirit theory, and an internationally recognized Yoga Instructor, I love guiding and instructing others to live their best life. I am a National Master Bender Ball Trainer teaching the Bender Ball Method, Tabata GX, and Barre Above and I have authored many programs including the successful Bender Ball Chair Yoga course. I love teaching a variety of classes and I work one-to-one with clients, helping them create success in their lives through fitness, health and wellness programs.  When I'm not teaching, you can find me traveling throughout the provinces of BC and Alberta mentoring many instructors and, as well, teaching CEC approved workshops.

 

I host very successful annual Yoga retreats in Mexico, coaching my guests to bring balance into their lives through two of my signature coaching programs; the Art of B.A.L.A.N.C.E. and The L.A.W. of Balance.   In 2015 I created my signature program, Antaraka Yoga/Pyfusion – an amazing Pilates-infused-Yoga class that I teach to dedicated instructors so they too can inspire others across the globe. I have certified 100s of instructors and continue to offer more in-depth programs to them annually.

 

As a published author, I was honored to be a part of a best seller book, "Shine 2" in 2017 and in 2018, I personally published my successful book "21 Ways To Bring Balance Into Your Life" and am in the process of publishing my second book "Balance Yoga for Parkinson's Disease and, other Movement Disorders". 

 

Daily, I live my truth by balancing my dedication to my career and clients, and my devotion to my family, my 3 beautiful daughters, and 8 wonderful grandchildren.
