Are you looking for a way to strengthen your Yoga practice or that of your students? This awesome Pilates-infused Yoga workshop will help you re-connect to your core and become more in-tuned with the body.  If you are an instructor, you will learn the art of becoming a skillful thinking instructor infusing functional movement into your classes.

You will become stronger and taller and be able to connect body and mind so much easier while building strength from within and learning to connect breath with movement.  Learning the art of lateral breathing will increase your lung capacity which, in turn, will help you hold poses longer and breathe easier. When we connect the breath, bandhas, and drishti our practice becomes so much more!

This wonderful form of Yoga is for everyone, any age and any fitness level.  It is excellent for people with various types of movement disorders and can be  easily incorporated into an active older adult setting. Using a chair and squishy ball, the health benefits of this program are endless – reduced blood pressure, better sleep, improved mobility, movement, and posture, to make everyday tasks easier.


All aspects of Yoga – postures, pranayama (breath), meditation and relaxation are covered. This special population can find comfort using the chair as an aide – helping to reduce fear of falling reducing anxiety and stress. The easy-to-follow book will allow you to start teaching the program right away.

Pelvic Floor Workout

Do you (or someone you know) live with urinary incontinence?  Most women think that it’s a natural part of pregnancy, menopause or aging. Incontinence is treatable with exercise!  All you need to do is strengthen your pelvic floor and I can show you how!  through research, we have learned that the pelvic floor naturally responds to movement.  Bladder control is usually a fitness issue and deserves a fitness solution!  Pfilates is a method of pelvic floor rehabilitation that uses the most effective Pilates, Yoga and Personal Training movements to condition the pelvic floor, as well as toning the thighs and butt? 

Come and learn 10 amazing exercises that will help YOU by:

  • Improving bladder and bowel control so you can jump, run, or sneeze with no accidents 

  • enhancing sexual function 

  • recovering pelvic floor strength after childbirth or surgery.

2:45 pm – 4:15 pm          PILATES BASICS


Pilates is a non-impact, balanced class that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels! 

Developed by Joseph Pilates (1880-1967) Pilates is a tried and true method of exercises that delivers results for a lifetime of health and wellness.  It trains both your body and mind and is a form of exercise that focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility.  This great beginner class, while building amazing core strength, will help you develop a deeper understanding of your body and how it moves.                   

No Pilates experience required! Modifications will be shown for all exercises. Anyone can do this work!

Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality. Setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life and ultimately achieve them!


What strategies do you apply to overcome barriers to setting goals?

Do you often find yourself “drowning” in many thoughts?  Sometimes not knowing which way to turn or feeling in a fog?  Goals without action are empty dreams; actions turn dreams into goals. Even if we miss our goals, it does not make us a failure; it only means we have to replan to accomplish our target. 


Goals must be S.M.A.R.T. and balanced.  My 7 step system will help you get a clearer picture in your mind of what you need to do to bring you closer to your goals.  Together we will identify what you REALLY want and learn how to inspire yourself through the Art of B.A.L.A.N.C.E.

Connecting with and strengthening your deep stabilizing muscles is significant for spinal health and core strength.  This fun and fabulous workout using the Bender Ball will stimulate and strengthen your core including your back, pelvic and shoulder girdles, as well as improve your posture.
