Why work with me?

I have always been active ever since I was 7 years old.  Short distance running, Netball and Javelin were my three favourite sports in school. My professional journey towards health and wellness began when I was in my 30s. I was working out at least 4 times a week and I was loving the changes that were happening in my body but I was missing out on cardio.  I wasn't a fan of the treadmill or stationary bike but I loved to dance and so I went to an aerobics class.  I was hooked!  I knew cardio had to be a part of my fitness regime so in 1996 I became a fitness instructor.  I soon realized that I wanted to share my new founded knowledge with others so became a Personal Trainer in 1997. 

 

One of my goals growing up was to touch my toes (I was not very flexible) and so my fitness and health journey took me into the local yoga studio where I learned patience and the art of surrendering into poses so that my body could finally release the tightness.  I fell in love with yoga so much that I took my first 200-hour Yoga course and became a Yoga Instructor in 1998. After attempting to go back to school to complete a degree in Physiotherapy, I realized it wasn't meant to be so I became a Pilates Instructor in 2000.  Since then I have helped and coached hundreds of clients, helping them live life to the fullest through fitness, health, and wellness.

Currently, I am a Canadian Master Trainer for the Barre Above program, Tabata GX, and the Bender Ball Method.  I am also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider for yoga instructors, and as well, I create and deliver programs to other fitness, health, and wellness instructors and clients all over the world.

 

I have the know-how to create a successful plan for you.  I will inspire, educate, and coach you to achieve the results you are wanting, ensure your exercise experience is enjoyable, and fun to keep you interested and motivated.  No matter what obstacle or barrier surfaces, you will stick to your fitness and lifestyle plan because it will become your “way of life”.  You may not come to love exercise but you will love all that it brings to your life.

QUESTIONS?

Do I need to get into shape before I do your program?
There is no time like the present to get fit and healthy.  It doesn't matter if you are new to fitness, coming back from an injury, a weekend warrior or an elite athlete, I promise I will work with you at YOUR level, and teach you how to work at a pace that is comfortable for you and will give you the results you are looking for!
What if I can't make all the calls? Are there makeups?
Anytime I have taken a course, 99% of the time I can't make the call due to work or other commitments. I do however always get to watch the reply at my convenience and you will be able to too.  Sure, it's not the same as being on the call in person but know that I am only an email away from answering any questions that may come up for you.
How often do I have to work out during the six weeks?
3 days a week is optimal but sometimes life gets in the way, right?! To see the results you are wanting though, you should stick to the program as close as possible.  Heck, sometimes when we think we don't have time to exercise, that's the best time to do it...and you know what? you'll have the BEST workout ever!
Are you available to answer questions during the program? 
 
During the program, you will have access to 24/7 email support plus you'll be a member and have access to a private member's forum where you will be able to get information from your teammates.
